I’ve been completely engulfed in the Jamstack this year and increasingly it looks as if Vue is strengthening it’s position as my go-to web-app frontend toolkit. After needing to deal with Angular in a legacy project and trying to upgrade to Angulars newest version it fell short of expectations, appearing to still be stuck in some dated concepts that I find pretty annoying and look like something that Java devs still stuck in the 90ies would come up with when building a web frontend.
Vue however still holds up pretty well and while it isn’t quite as avantgarde as Svelte or other smaller darling projects, it does have a large and growing userbase which makes it a safe bet for larger long-term projects.
Here’s a list of currently available UI and FE toolkits ready to be used with Vue 3. Enjoy.
